John August Swanson's "The River" During the summer of 2012, artists from the Judson Studios in Italy crafted a mosaic of The River, a painting by John August Swanson. This fine piece was installed above the courtyard fountain in memory of Ted Siirila. Look for it in the courtyard when you visit St. Matthew Church. The River
