St. Matthew's Celebrates Sixty-Five Years of Service and Worship
Sunday Morning, September 16, 2012, we celebrated sixty-five years of service in the southern California communities of Burbank and Glendale and their surrounds with a dedicatory worship service that honored servants of the past, praised the dedication of servants of the present, and expressed hope for the servants of the future. Join us for worship in the Lord on Sunday mornings and discover other opportunities for service in our neighborhood--including our neighborhood extending around the world.
A Loving Community of Sixty-Five Years

Pastor Banwart leads the welcoming rite for new members, including Intern Pastor Mark and his family.
Members gather in the courtyard and narthex for the worship procession, a rousing hymn of celebration, led by the acolyte, the choir, and followed by Bishop Dean Nelson and Pastor Keith Banwart. After worship, we continue our celebration in the Fireside Room with delicious food, friendly companionship, and--of course--the faithfullness of our Marthas who help to clean up.
