The chancel of St. Matthew's is joyful

Easter at St. Matthew Church is always a glorious festival, and Easter 2011 was a great day. We celebrated our risen Lord with our congregation in joy-filled music, expressions from the word of God, the Holy Eucharist--and especially heartening was the radiant smiles of our pew-mates. Visitors and extended family are always welcome at St. Matthew's, and on Easter Sunday we rejoice to see many new and familiar faces.

The stained-glass windows, the rugged cross adorned with Easter flowers, the brilliant light-filled cross, the altar prepared for the Lord's Supper, musicians leading, Pastor Banwart excited, and the congregation joyfully singing.
Ahh. We are happy Jesus is with us.
